The 75th NBA All-Star Game took place on February 15, 2026, at the Intuit Dome, marking the first All-Star Game at the venue and a record seventh time the Los Angeles area has welcomed the league’s midseason showcase. Presented by the Los Angeles Clippers, the 2026 edition featured a three-team, round-robin format with two American squads, Team Stars and Team Stripes, and an international roster, Team World. The uniforms incorporated an LA-inspired script, seven stars honoring the city’s seven All-Star Games, and each player’s national flag at the back neckline.

Cade Cunningham was selected with the first overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, becoming the franchise’s third No. 1 overall selection. Highly regarded as one of the premier prospects of his class, Cunningham quickly established himself as the focal point of Detroit’s rebuild with his combination of size, vision, and scoring ability.
During the 2023–24 season, Cunningham delivered a breakout campaign, averaging career highs of 22.7 points and 7.5 assists per game while joining Isiah Thomas and Dave Bing as the only players in franchise history to average at least 22 points and seven assists in a single season.
