R. G. Scrivener & Co. was established by R. G. Scrivener and Thomas Bourne in 1870 and was situated about midway between Stoke and Hanley. They produced high quality decorative china in tea, breakfast, dessert services and exported wares to the Americas, as well as supplying the home markets.
