Goos and others, modern half marbled calf in period style over old marbled boards, spine gilt in compartments, occasional light damp-staining, a few small marginal tears

Clüver's geography was first printed posthumously in 1624 and proved very influential; this later edition contains maps to compare the ancient world with the present, as well as a final section by Petrus Bertius containing an overview of world geography and a list of Roman emperors.
