u.bn, label slightly scuffed and worn, capsule slightly scuffed 

This might be called a 'feminine vintage', if the phrase were still allowed! Red fruit and cinnamon on the nose. Cedary too. Very full of dry spices. A superb taste of cassis and loganberries. It really is like eating spoonfuls of fruit, with a touch of aniseed on the finish. At 28 years old, this has reached its optimum point where the wine just demands to be drunk. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Most of these bottles were meticulously sourced through reputable local wine merchants. A smaller part purchased from auctions.
