Designed for Pam Am pilots, the 1675 is the second series of the GMT-Master collection, right after the 6542. Enjoying a long production run from 1959 to 1980, various marks were discovered within this period, which makes it a favourite among collectors.
Produced towards the end of the reference, the present example carries a dial from the Mark 5 iteration, distinguished from the "M" of GMT-Master bisecting the "C' and "H" of "Chronometer". The lumes have turned into a warm orange colour, matching perfectly with the brown bezel. An addition of the date wheel in Arabic gives it an exotic touch.
