This present Lange 1 timepiece exhibits a larger hour and minute sub-dial, while a smaller seconds counter, power reserve indicated in German, and a larger date aperture above, all benefit from the spaciousness and simplicity of the watch's dial layout. With a monochromatic tone and platinum case, the present 101.035 watch is distinctive from other pieces in the Lange 1 collection but still embraces classic elements which A. Lange & Söhne uses to represent traditional German watchmaking.
Nicknamed the "Darth" by collectors, the present example of the reference 101.035 is loved by many for its black dial on platinum case presentation. Its calibre L901.0 is based on the Jaeger 822 gear train. It wears subtle and sleek on the wrist.
