Daniel Roth was born into a family of watchmakers and began his career at Audemars Piguet before moving to Breguet. In the late 1980s, after Breguet changed ownership, Roth launched his own independent brand, a courageous move during the quartz crisis. Free from corporate constraints, he created his very own distinctive and stunning designs, most notably the double ellipse case that defined his collection.

Among his most iconic pieces is the present Tourbillon example, featuring a distinctive pink gold case and a beautifully finished one minute Tourbillon. The watch showcases an elegant grey dial with a hand engineered guilloché pattern, as well as a satin silver sub-dial. The case back is closed and numbered 308.
