partially gilt and champlevé enameled copper
Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin, Suzdal, Russia, before 1683 (the year it was mentioned in the treasure inventory);
Where discovered circa 1890 during the demolition of an annex;
Imperial Historical Museum, Moscow, from 1893 (after 1918, State Historical Museum);
By repute, sold in a sale of Soviet government art objects in Berlin, 1930s;
With Saemy Rosenberg, Amsterdam;
By whom sold, Amsterdam, 20 April 1935;
Where acquired by Oscar Bondy (1870-1944), Vienna;
From whom confiscated by the Nazi authorities in 1939 (Hostientaube, inv. no. 162);
