Hugo E. Kreijger, Tibetan Painting, The Jucker Collection, Boston, 2001, p. 50, pl. 11.

Shadakshari Lokeshvara, the form of Avalokiteshvara associated with the six-syllable mantra om mani padme hum, is depicted at the center of this Drukpa Kagyu composition; the tradition indicated by the particular red hats worn by the lineage figures at the top of the painting. Floating above his left and right shoulder are two bodhisattvas, the one on the right side of the painting clearly Manjushri, beneath which are two deities with their hands in prayer who cannot be clearly identified due to lack of iconographic detail. Just beneath Lokeshvara’s proper right knee is Sitatara (White Tara) and Green Tara opposite her. The deities at the bottom of the painting from left to right include Yangchenma, Shri Devi Dudsolma, Miachig Labdron, Tseringma, and another female deity.
