Presented in this lot is the match point ball used in the 4th set of the US Open quarterfinal featuring Félix Auger-Aliassime and Alex de Minaur at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 3, 2025.
In a dramatic four-set showdown, Auger-Aliassime came from behind to defeat de Minaur with a final score of 4‑6, 7‑6 (9‑7), 7‑5, 7‑6 (7‑4), securing his place in the semifinals.
This ball was the decisive match-clinching ball used to seal the fourth set in a tense tiebreak and complete one of the hardest-fought victories of the tournament.
The ball was secured on-site and authenticated by a Sotheby’s representative immediately following the match.
