Η ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΦΡΑΚΗ ( THE GREEK FREAK in Greek )

Sotheby’s is proud to present this original artwork by Desmond Mason. The work incorporates street art elements layered over Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s jersey. Mason directly references Antetokounmpo's nickname and heritage by writing “FREAK” at the top of the piece and illustrating the Greek flag at the bottom. On the right-hand side of the work, Mason inscribed the seasons in which Antetokounmpo won his back-to-back MVP titles. This work is a celebration of Antetokounmpo’s legendary career in Milwaukee.
