The A. Lange & Söhne Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar "Terraluna" is a masterpiece of astronomical watchmaking, combining a regulator style perpetual calendar with an extraordinary 14-day power reserve and a patented orbital moon phase display. The movement, calibre L096.1, features a constant-force escapement to ensure consistent energy delivery over its long autonomy, while the case back reveals a mesmerizing celestial map depicting the relative positions of the sun, moon and earth. A button at 2 o'clock of the case decouples the Earth disk from the hand set, allowing setting of local time without changing the disc on the back.
