This lot contains ivory. Due to recent changes in the laws of many countries (e.g.

This miniature is based upon Sir William Beechey's 1796 oil portrait of the Queen, exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1797. There is another verision, also dated 1801, in the Royal Collection (RCIN 420657).
