explaining that George Antrim, who had previously served under Nelson, "has great fears of appearing before you terrific gentle men because he has served very little in England but chiefly in the Med[iterranea]n where I put him for his good conduct acting in a real vacancy in July 1799", and begging to introduce him to Harwood's notice, 1 page, 4to, integral blank, Merton, 3 October 1802, fold tears neatly repaired, spotting, dust staining to blank


A PETITION BY NELSON ON BEHALF OF A FORMER SHIPMATE. Midshipman George Antrim had been wounded on HMS Vanguard at the Battle of the Nile.
