Abraham Louis Breguet is widely considered to be one of the most important watchmakers of all time and, in fact, is responsible for many of the innovations that are now commonplace in nearly every mechanical watch produced today. It’s no wonder that he is cited as an inspiration by the likes of George Daniels and F.P. Journe.
During the 18th and 19th centuries, Breguet manufactured not just watches but also marine chronometers for the French Navy, which were among the most accurate timekeeping devices in production. It is from this heritage that the Marine collection takes its name.
This impressive example is crafted in white gold and is equipped with an alarm. Finished off with the luminescent Breguet hands, calibrated bezel, black dial and fitted to a sporty silicone strap, it is powered by the Breguet 519R—offering the perfect blend of sport and luxury. Complete with its original box and papers, this is a remarkable timepiece from one of horology’s most esteemed brands.
