FIRST EDITION, 2 volumes, folio (375 x 280mm.), photogravure portrait, 149 hand-coloured lithographed plates by J.G. Keulemans, heightened in gum arabic, contemporary red half morocco, top edges gilt, others uncut, bottom edge rubbed
A FINE COPY. "A thorough monograph of a limited section of the family Turdidae... Several new species are described. The hand-colored plates by Keulemans are excellent" (Zimmer).
