The creation of an ultra-thin movement is considered a pinnacle of sophistication and elegance in the field of watchmaking. Unlike other tonneau shaped Richard Milles, the current RM033 is featured in an unusual round case. The watch utilized titanium as the middle case and the aesthetic was unmatched to other sports watches in the market.
In full Richard Mille fashion, the skeletonised dial allows the full appreciation of the intricate movement. The baseplate and bridges are forged in grade 5 titanium which gives the highest rigidity for the entire ultra-thin assembly, meeting rigorous strength requirements set by the manufacturer. The micro rotor also helped to further reduce the overall thickness of the watch to 6.3 mm. Limited to 30 pieces, the current watch was only available in Asia boutiques and it is a great opportunity to acquire such a rare and unusual piece of horology by Richard Mille.
