During his rookie season with the Blazers, Scoot led all rookies in assists per game (5.4) and finished in the top 5 in points per game. He overcame a difficult start to the season to finish strong- he led all rookies in the month of April when he averaged over 9 assists per game. He will continue leading the rebuild effort in Portland as they chart their path back to winning ways.
