Russell Westbrook ‘Christmas Day’ Denver Nuggets 2024-2025 Game Worn Icon Edition Jersey

This away ‘Icon Edition’ jersey was worn in the 1st half  by Russell Westbrook on Christmas Day when the Denver Nuggets played the Phoenix Suns. 

Westbrook finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal. The Nuggets lost to the Suns, 110-100.

In the 2016-17 NBA season, after averaging 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game, Russell Westbrook became the first player since Oscar Robertson in 1962 to average a triple-double. The remarkable accomplishment helped the fiery point guard win league MVP honors.

As it turned out, Westbrook was just getting started. 

The UCLA product averaged a triple-double again in 2018, 2019 and 2021. But individual success aside, Westbrook’s teams made deep runs in the NBA postseason, including in 2012 when he made the NBA Finals with the Thunder.

Only 11 active players were selected for the team including Russell Westbrook.
