60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc. In 2015, a wonderfully opulent, scented nose that is enormously appealing. An exotic touch too, plus black liquorice. A "baroque" wine. Warmth and sweetness - hard to spit! A real aftertaste of dried fruits, figs and cinnamon. Sensational, Asian spices finish, with sweet succulence. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

Provenance

This cellar features some of the best Bordeaux in owc. Highlights include Mouton 2000, La Mission Haut Brion 1982, Haut Brion 1990, Latour 2009 and Lafite 2009. While the First Growth are clearly represented, ready to enjoy Bordeaux classics such as Pichon Baron 2000, Smith Haut Lafitte Blanc 2005 and Lynch Bages 1996 are also up for grabs.
