Introduced in 1963 and produced until 1976, reference 6239 embodies the rich development history of Rolex's Daytona. A rare early reference of the 6239, the present watch features a dial without the "Oyster" and "Daytona" logo, accompanied by the correct bezel calibrated to 300 units.
What is also very intriguing about this watch is the 'S&L Acero' signature to the case back. This inscription suggests that the watch was retailed by the prestigious retailer Serpico y Laino in Caracas.
