The second signed Senshu Kishiwada Miki Kurasuke saku (made by Miki Kurasake from Kishiwada in Izume Province)

Edo period, 19th century

 

the first with iron barrel inlaid in silver with a ho-o bird above paulownia; the second with barrel inlaid in silver with tachibana mon [mandarin flower crest] and various insects in flight, including dragonflies, butterflies and wasps, the hammer with droplets of snow, stamped number 1548
