One pair signed Bishu Ono ju Fujiwara Shigehisa saku (made by Fujiwara Shigehisa, a resident of Ono in Owari Province)
Edo period, 18th century
each pair of typical form, the first inlaid in silver with karashishi bordered with kikko hanabishi design, red lacquer interiors; the second pair decorated with brass and silver inlay, with a hemp fan (shuro), the interiors with a design of mother-of-pearl, signed Bishu Ono ju Fujiwara Shigehisa saku (made by Fujiwara Shigehisa, a resident of Ono in Owari Province), accompanied with a hardwood stand
