Description

Infinity. Los Angeles: Rockaway Productions Inc, 28 June, 1994.

Typed screenplay, 120 pp on 120 leaves, blue and white cardstock covers, punched at spine and held together with metal fasteners, with extensive notations in Joan Feynman's hand in pencil throughout. [1994].

Released in 1996, the movie Infinity featured Matthew Broderick and Patricia Arquette as Richard and Arline Feynman, and detailed the romantic life of Feynman as a young man, up to and including the death of Arline and the Trinity nuclear test.

Joan Feynman made over 30 notations to this copy of the screenplay, many of them correcting Patricia Broderick's portrayal of Richard or Arline. Comments such as, "Neither Richard nor I would have spoken to our father like that," or "Why do you make Wheeler the genius here? RP was obviously a great scientist by then" are representative of Joan Feynman's comments on this version of the screenplay.
