Sapphire and diamond ring, 'Trombino', Bulgari

Set with an oval sapphire weighing 5.38 carats, between graduated lines of baguette diamonds, the mount pavé-set with brilliant- cut diamonds, size 53^1/2, signed Bulgari, Italian maker's mark and assay mark for gold.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 121645, stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
