Leslie and Johanna acquired this print directly from the sitter, Maurice Payne. The other impression from this scarce edition of two was exhibited at the Morgan Library, 2021, while this impression was part of the 2014 exhibition Hockney, Printmaker at London's Dulwich Picture Gallery.
