Nicholas Clausen and Buteux made a set of twelve cups and covers in 1719, probably for the Royal family, see Michael Clayton, The Collector's Dictionary of the Silver and Gold of Great Britain and North America, (second edition) p. 138. The set later formed part of the collection of Ernest, Duke of Cumberland.
