Released in five batches at different proofs, this is the first release of the Parker's Heritage Collection 1st Edition, distilled in 1996, bottled in 2007

By 2007 the master distiller Parker Beam was already a legend in the bourbon world, having shepherded Heaven Hill through some of the darkest days of the whiskey bust. To honor him, that year the distillery launched the Parker’s Heritage Collection: Each year, Beam would craft a unique whiskey that explored his favorite flavor and mashbill profiles, while also demonstrating the depth and breadth of what Heaven Hill had to offer. The coveted first edition was an 11-year-old cask strength whiskey, released at a time when high-proof bourbon was still relatively rare.
