Unorthodox even amongst other photogrammetry artists, Adam Fuss channels potent mysticism into his images. Motivated by the histories of symbolism associated with natural phenomena, Fuss’s work strives to encompass these universal themes. The flower, a symbol of fertility and renewal, is a common subject for Fuss. After experimenting with how different breeds of flowers react to photo papers, Fuss became fixated on this subject matter. The results of these experiments are vividly colored photograms that abstract and enhance the flowers.
