8vo (165 x 116mm.), title within arabesque woodcut border, woodcut initials, head- and tailpieces, woodcut illustrations, without final blank leaf, some annotations and underlinings, old vellum, title-page slightly frayed,cut close at head, some marginal wormholes, small tear in N6


The third Latin Bible by de Tournes to include the woodcut illustrations of Bernard Salomon (the first was produced in 1554); the text is based on that of Robert Estienne.
