Description
Case: Corniche case with holding handle. The base with selection levers for setting with engraved grande-sonnerie / silence and petite-sonnerie
Dial: Circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals and alarm dial below, set within a gilt plate. Remnant of Breguet signature, and No. 4.
Movement: Platform lever escapement, the movement signed Breguet No. 4450
Dial: 5.08 cm diameter
Height: 17.78 cm
Accessories: With a period leather box, possibly the original, but not signed Breguet. With a sliding panel to reveal the time. The box with carrying handle. The box with multiple splits to the carrying handle, replacement washers to attach it to the box and scratches to the leather throughout. The straps were originally sawn into the box, evidence of rapture is present where the ends of the straps are currently screwed in. Overall in worn condition.
