Very minerally, very "irony" nose. Lots of great, fresh, violetty fruit. So silky and such finesse. So sweet at the end. It sometimes has a bouquet of wild boar (the cooked version!), a glorious, gamey taste and a lovely aniseed finish. In 2012, a superlative "exotic" nose. Superb, irony centre. Utterly mouth coating with that great Petrus heart to it. Sweetness and mineral dimension. True long finish. In a class of its own. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
