tin-glazed earthenware (maiolica)
diameter: 8 ⅛ in.; 20.4 cm.
painted with a profile of King Stordilano, seen in profile to left, wearing a Byzantine-style mitre with a jeweled crown woven with a twisted fabric, with a white banderole painted with the inscription RZ STORDILANO (Rex Stordilano), the reverse with old circular label: “collection A. Imbert Rome n° 833”
