Horizontal oban: 24.4 x 33.7 cm., 9⅝ x 13¼ in.

The scene is set in Nagano Prefecture, characterised by well-developed vegetation and towering mountain vistas. It is raining in the residential area, with the skies and clouds printed in two tones of grey. A solitary figure carrying an umbrella walks past fruiting persimmon trees.
