The Panerai PAM 604 Radiomir made its debut at SIHH 2015 as a limited edition exclusively available at the Panerai Boutique in Florence. The case bears an engraving featuring a motif deeply rooted in Tuscan history, including the iconic Florentine Lily dating back to the 11th century. This emblem is intricately woven into a larger geometric and floral pattern, adorning both the case and crown.
Remarkably, each engraving is meticulously done by hand, with a single craftsman dedicating over a week to complete one case. This painstaking process takes place on an already finished and assembled brushed steel case, leaving no margin for error. Given the inherent hardness of steel, compared to gold, the result is not only visually stunning but also stands as a significant technical achievement.
