framed: 37.1 x 44.8 cm.; 14⅝ x 17⅝ in.

Sillett is a rare artist who was one of the first members of the Norwich School, a group of painters active in Norfolk during the early nineteenth century. Other members include John Crome (1768–1821) and most celebrated of all John Sell Cotman (1782–1842).
