The Speedmaster 145.012-67, dubbed the ‘Ultraman’ due to its appearance in the Japanese television series in 1966/67 and 1971/72, is nearly identical to other contemporary references, containing a caliber 321 movement and asymmetric case. The chronograph hand, however, is a distinct orange color.

Despite the watch’s connection to the Ultraman series, these orange hand examples were sold worldwide, and were the last Speedmaster reference to feature the ‘SP’ designation for the enhanced water resistance to the pushers, as well as the final reference to contain the 321 movement.
