This classic American romantic comedy was directed by George Cukor, and starred Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn, James Stewart and Ruth Hussey. It tells the story of a wealthy socialite whose wedding plans are thrown into chaos when her ex-husband and a tabloid reporter show up, prompting her to re-evaluate her life, love and identity. The film was later re-made as the 1956 musical High Society, starring Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.
