Alamo Drafthouse Cinema originated in Austin, Texas, in 1997. Its poster legacy is closely linked to Mondo, its in-house art boutique. It was established in 2003 as a merchandise outlet and shop focusing on producing limited-edition, screen-printed film posters. By collaborating with renowned rock poster artists, it transformed film poster design, creating distinctive, artist-led tributes to cult favourites and classic cinema that redefined the way films could be marketed.
This 80s film has become a true cult classic teen coming-of-age film.
