Description
Gouache on illustration board, signed by artist Brian Bysouth in pink paint in the lower centre. Conservation framed with UV plexiglass, unframed: 32 x 22 in. (81.5 x 56 cm), framed: 28 x 38.5 in. (71.1 x 97.7 cm)
Owing to the collapse of the production company, this film did not have a cinematic release in the UK and went straight to video. There is a perspex back on the reverse of the frame showing a CBS FOX Video label and a REFEF label (advertising, design and public relations company).
This American monster adventure sequel to King Kong (1976) was directed by John Guillermin. Set ten years after the original story, the film follows the discovery that Kong has survived and his desperate struggle to find a new purpose and companion. It stars Linda Hamilton and Brian Kerwin.
