This comedy horror was directed by Mel Brooks and written by him and Gene Wilder. It also stars Gene Wilder as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, a descendant of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein, Peter Boyle as the monster, Marty Feldman as Frankenstein's man servant Igor and Madeline Kahn as Elizabeth, who falls in love with the monster. It is a parody of the classic horror film genre, with the usual zany Brooks and Wilder humour.
