30th Dynasty/Ptolemaic Period, 380/330 B.C.
in flight with the wings outstretched and legs folded back, and wearing a broad collar and rounded wig, a suspension loop above the breast.
Width 5 cm.
probably acquired by Henry Paget, 6th Marquess of Anglesey (1885-1947) in Egypt in 1915/16 or in Cairo in 1923
then by descent to the present owner
