For a very similar micromosaic plaque probably representing the same dog, see Sotheby's Paris, 4 May 2016, lot 102. The micromosaic was signed by Filippo Palizzi, a Neapolitan animal and landscape painter. According to an accompanying note, the represented dog was called 'Fuffy'.
