the wide openwork borders pierced with scrolling foliage, floral swags, and medallions decorated with flower bouquets and hung from ribbon bows, engraved to match underneath, one with with foliate monogram ?DRO at center, the other with script monogram AFJ on base, marked on bases and numbered 8388, one also stamped with retailer mark for Spaulding & Co. Chicago, Ill.
