This year marks 75 years since the revolutionary CoBrA movement was founded in Paris. Active from 1948 to 1951, CoBrA was an important art movement after the Second World War. It was formed by a group of artists mainly from Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands. These artists gathered at the back-room of a Paris café near Notre Dame in November 1948 and then developed their free, expressive working methods throughout the years.

Cette année marque les 75 ans de la fondation du mouvement révolutionnaire CoBrA à Paris. Actif de 1948 à 1951, CoBrA a été un mouvement artistique important après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il a été formé par un groupe d'artistes originaires principalement du Danemark, de Belgique et des Pays-Bas. Ces artistes se réunissaient dans l'arrière-salle d'un café parisien près de Notre-Dame en novembre 1948 et ont ensuite développé leurs méthodes de travail libres et expressives au fil des années.
