Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, plain flat three-arm balance, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation plate, fusee and chain, square baluster pillars, signed Henri Voisin, à Paris

Dial:restored white enamel, Roman numerals, Arabic outer minute ring, aperture for winding at 2 o'clock, paste-set hands, signed Henri Voisin

Case: gold, the back chased and engraved with vari-colour gold musical trophies to the central panel with a bow above and surrounded by floral garlands, bezels with geometric decorated borders interspersed by stylised flower heads, paste-set to front diamond-set thumb piece, inside case back with Paris control markpendant with further control mark

Chatelaine: the panels decorated en suite with the case back in vari-colour gold with trophies of music and baskets of flowers, the pendant hook's panel depicting a burning altar of love surrounded by musical trophies and a basket of fruit, stamped to the back with Paris control mark, further indistinct maker's marks, gilt-metal pendant hook, two pendant chains each terminating in a key
