A MEISSEN CHINOISERIE TEABOWL AND SAUCER CIRCA 1723
painted in the manner of P. E. Schindler, the teabowl painted on the exterior with a Chinoiserie figure reading from a Torah scroll and the saucer with a figure carrying a deer on his shoulder, each within a gilt, iron-red and Böttger lustre scroll-edged quatrefoil panel beneath a gilt scroll border at the rim, reverse and the interior of the teabowl with a spray of flowers, the underside of saucer with concentric circles in iron-red, gilt numeral 33. to both.
