painted in an Imari palette with panels of indianische Blumen enclosed by underglaze-blue borders embellished in gilding, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue with a small S between the blades, the teabowl with incised Dreher's mark X for Johann Daniel Rehschuh or Johann Christophe Pietzsch (Rückert, 1990, p. 123-24).
