A MEISSEN CHINOISERIE TEABOWL AND SAUCER CIRCA 1723
painted in the manner of P. E. Schindler, each piece molded with four panels with gilt fluted borders, the teabowl painted with four Chinoiserie figures at various pursuits, the saucer with two Chinoiserie figures cooking eels enriched in Böttger lustre, before a garden fence reserving various vases, within iron-red concentric circles, each with a gilt scroll border at the rim, the reverse and the interior of the teabowl with branches of indianische Blumen, the foot of the saucer with a silver-gilt mount.
