ROYAL. A PAIR OF GERMAN SILVER BEAKERS, UNMARKED, PROBABLY BERLIN, CIRCA 1860
chased with rocaille ornament on a matted ground, flowers and strapwork, one with the coat-of-arms of Frederick III of Prussia, the other with the coat-of-arms of Great Britain with Saxe-Coburg-Gotha in pretense for Princess Victoria, detachable bases engraved underneath with cypher of Frederick below German imperial crown

The cypher on the bases are for Frederick III, below the German imperial crown. Frederick became emperor for only 100 days in 1888 as he was already ill when he succeeded to the Prussian royal and German Imperial crowns following the death of his father William I. In 1858 he married Princess Victoria of Great Britain, eldest child of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The Royal Prussian crowns on the beakers below the coats of arms indicate that the beakers were made before 1888 when Frederick and Victoria were raised to imperial status.
